Fueled by recent breakthroughs, we're seeking two talented and driven Plant Transformation Research Associates to join our innovative Corn and Soybean Transformation Discovery R&D teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement novel approaches to plastid and nuclear transformation in soybean and/or corn.
  2. Actively participate in collaborative research projects within the broader transformation and molecular biology teams, driving progress towards both short term and long-term company goals through project planning and strategic execution of deliverables.
  3. Clearly communicate research progress and results to both team members and leadership.
  4. Timely and meticulous data and project records documentation, maintenance following company guidelines for efficient protocol and knowledge sharing.

You're a Perfect Fit if You:

  • Hold a BS or MS with at least 2+ years of demonstrated plant transformation and plant tissue culture expertise. Experience with row crop transformation a plus.
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities with agility.
  • Possess clear and concise communication skills with ability to communicate technical information across peers and leadership.
  • Have a strong ability to execute project tasks efficiently.
  • Possess excellent planning, organization, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of molecular biology, plant gene expression, and plant transformation vectors a significant plus.
